A PIZZA chain has applied to set up a new branch in Didcot.

Papa Johns want to move in to an old charity shop at 184 Broadway.

The takeaway chain, which was founded in the United States in 1984 and now has 4,000 branches in 36 countries.

It has applied for planning permission to install a customer reception area, sales counter, gas oven and extraction system in the shop along with new doors, shop front and kitchen.

The branch will operate from 11am until 11pm Sunday to Thursday and 11am until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

A Consultation ends on February 22.
