THE over-use of antibiotics will come under the spotlight in a free public talk in Witney.
Organised by Public and Patient Partnership for West Oxfordshire, the talk by Professor Carl Heneghan will demonstrate how bacteria can adapt to survive antibiotic treatment.
Professor Heneghan is a Professor of Evidence-Based, and is skilled in putting medicine into plain English.
During the presentation, he will show why antibiotics are not always the answer to our problems, where they came from, and what the future holds for them.
The event will take place at The Corn Exchange, in Market Square, Witney, on Saturday, March 3, from 10.30am to midday.
Entry is free.
