TRAFFIC orders banning cars from various parts of the city centre because of the Westgate Centre have gone out to public consultation.
Official orders banning vehicles from Castle Street, Norfolk Street, Speedwell Street and Old Greyfriars Street could be approved in March but in the meantime residents can have their say.
A parking ban on Speedwell Street - from its junction with Thames Street link road westwards to its junction with Norfolk Street - and the length of Old Greyfriars Street at all times has also been proposed.
The new traffic management plan seeks to clarify restrictions on new roads and routes after the construction of the £440m Westgate Centre.
No physical changes to roads, signs or markings have been included in the plan.
