VOLUNTEERS are sought to help out at a 'conservation day' at a Headington Quarry park.
The event will be held on Sunday February 18 at Stansfeld Park between 9.45am and 4pm.
Oxford Conservation Volunteers and Science Oxford at Stansfeld Park will lead the work in constructing a new pond.
There will be scrub clearance, groundworks and the installation of a new liner.
Volunteers will be fuelled by complimentary tea and biscuits.
The free event is only suitable for over-14s because of the use of tools and work in confined spaces.
