AN OXFORD primary school still needs thousands of pounds to fund a playground.
John Henry Newman Academy in Littlemore has so far raised 10 per cent of its £5,000 fundraising appeal, to revive a former playground to its former glory.
As reported in the Oxford Mail at the start of this month, the early years play area was condemned years ago after equipment was deemed unsafe.
