A CHRISTMAS concert at Dorchester Abbey near Wallingford will support victims of domestic abuse in Oxfordshire.
The show on Friday, December 15, will include a performance from a ‘domestic abuse champions choir’.
Oxfordshire Music Service Clarient Quintet and the Headington Quarry Bell Ringers will also play.
The show is being organised by county charity Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse.
The organisation, which also works in neighbouring counties, says it ‘supports many of Oxfordshire’s most vulnerable adults and children’, working ‘intensively’ with people who are at risk of harm in their own homes and keeping them safe.
Among the guests at Friday’s concert will be Police and Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley Anthony Stansfeld and Lord Mayor of Oxford Jean Fooks.
Alongside the musicians there will be carols with audience participation and wine and mince pies. Tickets will be available on the door at £12.50 for adults or £5 for children.
