COUNTRYSIDE campaigners have called a council's local plan 'unsound'.
The Campaign to Protect Rural England Oxfordshire made the comments when responding to South Oxfordshire District Council's local plan which seeks to build more than 22,000 new homes by 2033.
The campaign group has called on the government's inspector not to release land from the green belt for developments at Culham and Wheatley and to reconsider the need for a 'new town' at Chalgrove.
