THOUSANDS of pounds of funding is up for grabs for projects to help wildlife.
The Trust for Oxfordshire’s Environment (TOE2) is offering grants from three pots.
The TOE2 Main Grant Scheme is open to projects in Oxfordshire which ‘promote and improve biodiversity’, ‘support a low carbon agenda through encouraging energy efficiency and the sustainable use of renewable resources’ or ‘improve access to green spaces and the countryside’.
The TOE2 and TVERC Recorders’ Grant Scheme, meanwhile, is available for small projects which ‘improve the quality, quantity and/or coverage of voluntary species recording in Berkshire and Oxfordshire’.
Finally, TOE2 and Network Rail are offer grants from £10,000 up to £100,000 for projects to create new woodland or other important habitats.
