A SCHOOL in Abingdon has become ‘stable’ after prior staffing turbulence.
Ofsted visited Long Furlong Primary School at the start of this month and yesterday published the results, praising the school for maintaining its ‘good’ rating.
The inspector’s report said: “In recent years, there was some instability due to changes in leadership and staffing.”
“Since your [the headteacher’s] appointment in April 2016, you have stabilised the school, brought renewed direction and successfully led improvements to the quality of teaching and outcomes for pupils.”
