RETIRED Oxford surgeon Stephen Westaby has been nominated for a Costa Book Awards prize for his memoirs.
Fragile Lives: A Heart Surgeon’s Stories of Life and Death on the Operating Table is on the biography shortlist, with category winners announced January 2.
