HAVE you always wanted to know more about the place you live in?
A team of volunteers are giving up their Sunday to take residents on a guided walk around Botley to tell them more about the green spaces and history of the area.
It will start at the Botley community orchard, in North Hinksey Lane at 2pm on Sunday, December 3.
After absorbing all the information and facts about the village, there will be a stop for tea and cake at the Louie Memorial Field pavilion at 3pm.
For those still enjoying the walk, they can then continue through Dean Court and Tilbury Fields before returning to North Hinksey at around 4.20pm. Historian Martin Harris will be making an appearance on the walk, providing historical context to some of the places the group will visit.
