THE full line-up of activities has now been announced for a 'swinging sixties' themed Christmas street fair in Didcot.

The groovy festivities will be held on Thursday November 30 along the Broadway from 4.00pm until 9.00pm.

Alongside traders and craftspeople selling their wares, there will be fun fairs and food and drink stalls.

A programme of music will take place on stages at The Orchard Centre and Broadway.

Colin Blunstone, the lead singer of 'The Zombies', will open the event officially at 5.45 pm.

He will be followed by radio DJ Tony Prince 'The Royal Ruler' doing a live show broadcast, recreating the magical sounds of the 60s.

For fans of the Beatles, Dirty Bizzness will play covers at 7.45 pm followed by the UK's premier Rolling Stones and The Who cover band 'Who Stoned Who' at 8.30pm.

The second stage outside Boots will showcase local talent.

A parade of walkers, musicians and entertainers will set off at 7pm from the civic hall reaching Lower Broadway at 7.30pm.
