THOMAS the tank engine and Father Christmas will both make appearances at the Didcot Railway Centre this festive period.

The two children's favourites will be at the centre on the weekend of December 2 and 3 and then again every weekend up until Christmas day.

Families can be transported behind the famous blue engine to meet Father Christmas in his grotto, where children will receive a gift.

Visitors have previously come from as far away as China and the United States for previous similar events at the railway centre.

Tickets are £15 for adults, £16 for child with present at www.dayoutwiththomas.co.uk
