OXFORD Brookes University has pledged to increase the number of UK-based students who study, work or volunteer abroad during their degrees and has signed up to a new international campaign.

The university said that only 6.6 per cent of students complete an international placement and involvement in the Universities UK International's 'Go International: Stand Out' campaign would boost this figure.

Ahmed Masoud, Head of International Partnership Development at Oxford Brookes University said: "Our commitment to this pledge reflects the University’s ongoing efforts to improving the student experience through offering various options of mobility, which in turn have huge benefits for students and their future."
