A DECISION on the planned expansion of Seacourt Park and Ride has been further delayed.

Oxford City Council had hoped to decide on the £4m proposals to build an extra 650 spaces in the floodplain next week.

But the West Area Planning Committee will not be discussing or deciding on the plans when it meets on Tuesday.

The committee’s agenda revealed that a planning addendum still needed to be submitted and that it was ‘possible’ the plan could be considered in the Autumn.

Residents have been concerned it could increase flood risk while the council insisted the expansion was needed to deal with more journeys into the new Westgate Centre.
