BAFTA award winning animator and director Geoff Dunbar will presents a special screening of The Cunning Little Vixen in his home town of Abingdon.
He created the celebrated film, which was nominated for the prestigious Prix Italia and won the Golden Prague in 2004, based on the opera by Leoš Janáek.
The screening on Thursday at Abingdon School's Amey Theatre, will begin with a talk by the director about how the film was made.
It coincides with an exhibit of the animator's work at Abingdon County Hall Museum.
His animated films will be familiar to some for ‘Rupert and the Frog Song’, an 1984 animated music video made in collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney, and ‘The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends’, Dunbar’s 1994 adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s stories commissioned by the BBC.
Tickets can be booked online via the school's website and the event starts at 7pm.
