A WELL-LIKED PTA chairman has stood down from her role after two years.
Kath Gillard, who has led the parents’ association at King Alfred’s Academy in Wantage, announced her departure in the summer.
She said she had enjoyed a ‘whirlwind’ two years, helping deliver two ‘incredible’ KAPA balls and making new friends, and thanked everyone who had supported her.
She said that deputy headteacher Jonathan Smith would announce her successor in due course.
