THIEVES stole bike accessories and a garden strimmer from a shed in Abingdon, prompting police to issue a warning.
The burglars broke into the shed in Ely Close overnight on Friday and stole bike wheels and other items.
Police in Oxfordshire have issued advice to owners of sheds, that they say can be seen as ‘easy pickings’ for opportunist thieves.
The advice includes ensuring there is a shackle padlock securing the shed, installing an alarm, and chaining larger items like bikes together to make them harder to steal.
Any one with information about the burglary in Abingdon on Friday night is urged to contact the force on 101.
