A GUIDE to setting up business in the north of the county has been produced by Cherwell District Council to attract more companies to the town.

The guide ‘Connect, Innovate and Grow’ has been created by the council’s economic growth team.

It hopes to inspire people to set up shop in the district and give business and networking support.

Cherwell District Council lead member for estates and the economy Lynn Pratt said: “Connect, Innovate & Grow is not only the name of this guide but also indicative of the unique set of advantages afforded to businesses trading in Cherwell.

“Cherwell is amongst the most productive districts in the UK.

“The local connections available through networks and infrastructure combined with innovation arising from local universities and enterprises make Cherwell a perfect place for running a business.

“Cherwell District Council plays an important role in this vibrant economy offering practical services to businesses to help them grow and succeed.”

The new guide is going to be produced both online and as a hard copy which is available from the council offices in Bodicote, and libraries in Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington.
