PUBS across Oxford will get a boost of up to £1,000 as part of a government scheme.
Those with a rateable value of less than £100,000 are in line to get the money knocked off of their tax bill this financial year.
There are 121 pubs which qualify for the scheme. Oxford City Council’s executive board agreed to take part at a meeting on Tuesday.
The savings will be covered by the government’s Small Business Rate Relief.
It was first announced in March’s Budget but was delayed until after June’s general election.
