IT may still be the middle of summer but residents have been urged to put two electric blanket test days in their diary.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service will be offering the safety checks at Abingdon Fire Station on October 6 and Wantage Fire Station on October 20.
The testing is provided with support from Oxfordshire County Council Trading Standards with Vale of White Horse District Council.
Appointments must be booked in advance and booking will open on August 15 by calling 01865 898642 or emailing communityengagement@oxfordshire.gov.uk
