WORK to move Great Crested Newts away from the railway in Bicester will start next week.
Network Rail will be creating new habitats for the species by excavating two new ponds and planting hedgerows from July 31.
It is part of the team's railway upgrade plan and will take place in Bicester Road and Station Road in Launton.
Network Rail has said work is expected to continue until September 29 and the public footpath in Station Road will be closed for the duration.
