AN OXFORD MP will join a mental health charity in a question and answer session.
Oxford West and Abingdon MP Layla Moran will take part in Oxfordshire Mind’s event on Monday to answer questions on mental health and her time in parliament since the election last month.
Ms Moran is the first MP of Palestinian descent and the first female Liberal Democrat MP from a minority background.
Chief executive officer for the charity Dan Knowles said: “We look forward to working and welcoming Layla to Oxfordshire Mind and showing her all the work which goes on in the different hubs around the service.
“We have welcomed the support of many former MPs and hope that Layla will join us in supporting our mission and vision statement.
“Our vision is clear, we will not give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.”
The Q&A session with staff will start at 12.30pm at Mind’s offices.
