THE retail park in Botley Road could be expanded to house more sofas.
Plans to extend the Harveys Furniture store to create more retail space over two floors have been lodged with Oxford City Council.
The unit is also home to Currys PC World, Pets at Home, Wren Kitchens, Multiyork and Maplin but it is Harveys that will benefit from the expansion.
Landowners British Land Retail Warehouse Ltd said Harveys needed the extra space to continue trading on the site.
It will be used primarily for product displays and changes to the exterior will allow for ‘more imaginative’ window displays.
