OXFORDSHIRE business leaders have lobbied Lord Adonis to keep pressure on the Government to fund key infrastructure projects including road improvements.
Lord Adonis, a former Oxford city councillor, is chairman of the National Infrastructure Commission, and he said earlier that Brexit and a hung parliament should not delay major projects.
Peter Smith, president of the Oxfordshire Chamber of Commerce, called for improvements to both the A40 and A34, adding they were ‘regionally significant and of national importance’.
