VIKINGS will descend onto Oxfordshire Museum.
From Saturday visitors can come face-to-face with the heroes of the Viking world as a new exhibition from York’s Jorvik Viking Centre is launched at the museum.
Their stories will be told through a series of display panels, replica objects and Viking Age human remains displaying the battle injuries of a warrior.
Also on display will be remains excavated from St John’s College.
A Viking encampment-themed children’s area examines the world of the Viking myth.
