Author Philip Pullman to open performing arts festival in Cumnor
RENOWNED author Philip Pullman will open a performing arts festival in Cumnor this weekend.
Performers will descend onto the village to take part in the event on Saturday from 11am to 8pm.
From jazz and swing bands to actors and classical musicians, the festival will be held in the gardens of Hurstcote, in Appleton Road.
Children’s craft activities, competitions as well as afternoon tea, canapes and evening Prosecco will also be available for visitors.
All day tickets are £14 or £2 per child under 16 with an adult.
