AN APPOINTMENTS committee will meet tomorrow to hire a new interim chief executive of Oxford City Council.
The committee has been tasked with finding a temporary replacement for Peter Sloman, who is leaving the authority on June 16 to go to Reading Borough Council.
It is understood councillors have already interviewed two candidates and will speak to a third on Tuesday.
A report said if no one was hired ‘an alternative internal interim arrangement has been developed’.
The committee is due to meet at 3pm.
