ABINGDON & Witney College is in the running for a top award at the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Training Provider Conference.
The original 113 nominees across 14 award categories have now been whittled down to a final 52.
In the Training Provider of the Year (Medium) category the college will battle it out against three other competitors.
The award recognises the quality provision of AAT qualifications to students from medium-sized colleges across the UK.
Curriculum manager for accounting courses at Abingdon & Witney College Gemma Godfrey said: “We are going into the AAT Training Provider Conference full of confidence that our offering is up there with the best.
“It all stems from a strong focus on support, inclusivity, and ambition – we want students to develop their own self-confidence and resilience before progressing into the world of employment.”
The college offers accounting qualifications at Level 2 to Level 4 for AAT.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Metropole Hilton hotel in Birmingham on Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5.
