MORE than 1,200 people have signed a petition calling on Oxford City Council to abandon its plans to expand Seacourt Park and Ride on Botley Road in order to protect badgers thought to be living in the area.
A total of 1,242 people have now added their names to the campaign started by Oxfordshire Badger Group.
The council has not yet set a date to finally decide whether the park and ride car park expansion can go ahead.
