A MAN who kicked, yanked and strangled a dog will be sentenced in April.
Hywell Clay, 47, of Radnor Court, Faringdon, pleaded not guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place and to causing unnecessary harm to a dog in the car park of Tesco Extra in Ocotal Way, Swindon, on November 5.
He was found guilty by magistrates sitting in Chippenham on March 16.
Clay will now be sentenced at Swindon Magistrates Court on April 11.
He has been released on conditional bail until that date.
