EMPLOYMENT charity Aspire Oxford is to stage an employers’ conference next month in a bid to boost recruitment.
The conference entitled Unlocking Potential for Oxfordshire will take place on Wednesday, April 26, from 9.30pm to 2pm at Unipart in Garsington Road.
The conference is free to attend and employers can learn about the advice and in-work support available to give them confidence in recruiting from disadvantaged groups.
Paul Roberts, chief operating officer at Aspire Oxford, said: “This conference is about giving employers the confidence to recruit more flexibly, and showcasing the benefits of giving disadvantaged people a chance in the world of work.
“Thousands of local people in Oxfordshire want to work and could do so, given the right support and the benefits of flexible recruitment are significant.”
