BLOSSOMING petals are set to brighten a neighbourhood this spring.
Florence Park Community Centre has launched its Sunflower Competition, calling on residents to fill the area with the beautiful buds.
Contestants who grow the tallest sunflower will be crowned the winner, along with contestants with the best sunflower photo or drawing.
Seeds, instructions and entry forms will be available at community cafes taking place at the Cornwallis Road centre from 11am until 2pm on April 1 and May 6.
