THOSE who know their ‘woody oaks’ from their ‘fruity infusions’ will enjoy a wine tasting event in Wantage.
And for those who don’t, they will certainly learn a thing or two at the event at the King Alfred’s Head in Wantage on Thursday night.
From 7pm residents are invited to help the pub create its new wine list by sampling a range of red, whites and roses and scoring them based on their preferences.
An expert will also be on hand to give out handy hints and tips to transform you into the perfect wine connoisseur.
