MODERN China historian Frank Dikötter has been revealed as the latest speaker joining this year’s Oxford Literary Festival.

He will take to the Sheldonian Theatre to talk about his trilogy of works on the country’s turbulent history during the festival’s Chancellor’s Lecture on April 1.

Book lovers from across the globe are set to enjoy debates, lunches, seminars and screenings with their favourite literary stars when the nine-day festival returns on Saturday, March 25.
