Staff and volunteers at Helen & Douglas House called on Oxfordshire to Go Orange
MORE than £51,000 has been raised for the county’s terminally ill youngsters.
East Oxford’s Helen & Douglas House took over Jack FM, broadcasting live from Thursday until Saturday.
It came as part of its inaugural Go Orange campaign, which saw the hospice call on the county to take part in orange-themed fundraisers to gather cash for its children and young adults.
The Magdalen Road hospice smashed its £10,000 target, which will go towards the £5.1m needed each year to care for more than 300 young people and their families.
