A HOUSING campaigner has threatened to make an official complaint to government if there are any more delays on a new housing estate.

Former Labour party activist Les Clyne has threatened to report Vale of White Horse District Council to the Department for Communities and Local Government if it has not signed off final agreements on the Grove Airfield estate by April.

The council agreed the 2,500 homes should be built ten years ago and granted planning permission in 2013 but the developers are still trying to agree a deal with landowners.

Dr Clyne, who lives in Abingdon, wants more affordable homes in the district.
