THE Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock is to host a picnic to raise funds for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal in the county.
The first Poppy Picnic will take place at the museum in Park Street on Saturday, May 13 at 1pm.
Families, schools and businesses are being invited to take part in the fundraiser and there will be activities for children.
The RBL’s community fundraiser for Oxfordshire Mark Garwood said: “It’s free entry and people are being asked to donate a minimum of £3 to the appeal.”
