AN EAST Oxford pub has applied to extend its licence to sell alcohol and play music.
The Library, in Cowley Road, can currently do so from 11am to midnight, Sundays to Saturdays. It has applied to extend this to 1am Mondays to Thursdays, 2am on Fridays and Saturdays and 1am on Sundays.
On Christmas Eve it also wants to extend this to 1am, to 3am on New Year’s Eve and until 2am on May Morning.
The change will be considered by Oxford City Council at a public meeting next Monday, starting at 5.30pm in Town Hall.
