AN OXFORD charity empowering adults with learning disabilities is extending a hand to those who would like to be taken to football matches around the UK.
My Life My Choice, based in Park End Street, runs a 'travel buddy' scheme in which people with learning disabilities who are already confident using public transport independently help others do the same.
Current travel buddy Paul Ward, from Witney, supports Oxford United and Manchester United and issued an appeal on the site's website for someone to go to games with.
He said: "I love going to football matches and want to find out what teams people support so I can travel buddy them to see them play."
Anyone interested or who knows someone that might be is asked to email kate@mylifemychoice.org.uk
