SMALL businesses need more support, one of Oxfordshire’s MEPs has said.
Anneliese Dodds welcomed news from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) last week that small business confidence was up.
But she said it was important for politicians to have their ‘fingers on the pulse’ when it came to small business.
Ms Dodds said: “It is now over 6 months after the referendum and the Tory government is still not clear if they are going to seek membership of the single market.
“If we see such damaging uncertainty continue, the next issue of the FSB’s report may contain much less good news, and a lot more gloom.”
Ms Dodds represents Oxfordshire for Labour.
