A CHOIR will be singing their hearts out next week on national radio.
Thame Chamber Choir is performing a piece specifically composed for them at 9.20pm on Monday, January 23.
“The Hoard” was written by Neil Tomas Smith as part of a scheme called “Adopt a Composer” for which the choir were selected for.
The composition was inspired by “The Thame Hoard” - a collection of medieval gold and silver artefacts found in 1940, which are now at the Ashmolean Museum.
The choir’s next concert is on Saturday, March 11 at St Mary’s Church, Thame.
