LIFE sciences and hi-tech firms pitched their inventions and ideas to potential investors in Oxford.
They gathered at Venturefest Oxford's Pitchfest at Unipart House in Garsington Road, Cowley, on Friday.
The Venturefest organisation stages a major showcase for firms and investors every June, attended by 1,000 delegates.
Executive chairwoman Lynn Shepherd said a number of Pitchfest sessions were being held throughout the year.
She added: "Pitchfest is an excellent opportunity for firms to pitch their ideas to investors, like the TV show Dragons' Den.
"We have had companies attending from across the Thames Valley."
