GUINEA pigs are wanted for a new flu vaccine trial at Oxford University.
Researchers at the Department of Primary Care Health Sciences are recruiting test subjects for a pilot study called RIVET.
That study will test the process for a full trial that will run next winter looking at a combination of a new flu vaccine against flu together with the current seasonal flu vaccine in adults aged 65 and over.
The team are now recruiting volunteers aged 65 or older in Thames Valley who are eligible for the flu jab but have not yet had it.
Participants will be reimbursed for their time.
