THREE leading social scientists from Oxford University have been made Fellows of The Academy of Social Sciences.
They have been recognised for the excellence and impact of their work through the use of social science.
They are Professor Jo-Anne Baird, Pearson professor of educational assessment and director of the department of education, Professor David Clark, the professor and chairman of experimental psychology, and Professor Mary Daly, who is professor of sociology and social policy,
Prof Roger Goodman, Chairman of the Academy, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to confer a Fellowship on all these eminent social scientists.
"It is particularly gratifying to include a larger number of economists, policy makers and practitioners on this occasion."
