PUPILS at Headington School took on the role of diplomats for a day as they competed in a model United Nations conference.
The school hosted Magdalen College School for the conference on Friday, with 50 and 60 pupils from both institutions in attendance.
Three committees debated Russia, Isis and the South China Sea dispute before the conference concluded with a General Assembly meeting.
Headington will also compete against Withington Girls' School in Manchester and the Oratory School in Woodcot, Berkshire, as part of its model UN programme.
