Natasha Baker, who trains with Emile Faurie at Milton-under-Wychwood, decribed striking gold in the individual Grade 2 dressage as “amazing”.

Riding Cabral, the 22-year-old set a Grade 2 record of 76.857 per cent in the competition on Saturday for athletes with reasonable balance and abdominal control including aputees.

She said: “It is the most incredible feeling. Coming to my first Games – and my home games – and to get a gold medal. “And I get a postbox! It is amazing. Getting on the podium and seeing all the flags and hearing everyone cheering was just ‘Wow’”.
