I RIDE a push bike to work every day and I am constantly angered and amazed by the number of people, mainly men, that ride on Millbrook Road main carriageway.
A 50mph road with very large vehicles, it is risking death when there is a cycle path the whole length of it and also Northam Bridge.
The signs are there and the cycle paths cost who knows how much to build. Is this a macho thing – “I don’t do that silly path” thing.
They should be prosecuted the same as everybody that exceeds the speed limit.
