Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It’s youngsters at a Blackbird Leys nursery. Children at The Co-operative Childcare in Cuddesdon Way were showing off their super powers on Friday to raise money for Women’s Aid.
Deputy manager Lisa Thornton said: “This is a cause close to our hearts because of the work it does to support families, and children in particular.”
The youngsters dressed up as their favourite superhero and took part in sponsored activities throughout the day. Women’s Aid, which works to end domestic violence against women and children, has been selected as The Midcounties Co-operative’s charity partner this year.
