Two men stole charity cash collecting tins from the Conservative Club in Windmill Road, Headington.
One of the men called at the club at 11.15am on Saturday and asked an employee to look at work he was doing outside. A second man then went inside and stole the tins, which were later discarded in Lewknor.
The first man is of large build, about 6ft, and aged about 50, with black hair.
The second man is of medium build, aged about 40, with short fair hair.
